First of all, I've only had a few hours sleep so apologies if some of below makes little sense. Secondly, as always thank you to our hosts for all your arrangements and providing us a safe and fun environment to relax.
It was important to start 2022 on a positive note so when I saw an opportunity to join BoT's first party of 2022 I couldn't refuse. Aiden showed brought me up to the venue at the usual 8pm and I was surprised to find I was contestant #2, bested by Meow who had been there much earlier. I met Meow for the first time back in November and was admittedly a little shy/quiet (note: I had also been in front of the computer all day at work) but we did enjoy casual conversations about food and travel.
Val, Enzo and Rita (?) arrived a little later and through a series of miscommunication I got cleaned up alone and not with Val. Caleb being the gentleman that he is arrived with churros which got the ladies pretty excited. Fast forward a little later and our final contestant Ella/ Elle/ she who forgot her own name arrived towards 10pm.
Rest of the night was a bit of a blur but at some point Val and Rita decided to have a moment in the common area and I was like shit don't mind me while I watch and participated on and off. Won't go into details but Val and Rita finished we went back to various board games (Val continued to kick ass at the card matching game) and the rest of the night was a combination of various serious and casual conversations, more food and more board games until the early hours of the morning. Many good memories from the evening incl. seeing Ella/ Ell's feet for first time (I have a foot fetish and I'm pretty open about it).
